Open Mic Night starts at 7 pm. Although the normal closing hours are posted as 9:30 pm, we plan to be open as long as everyone is having fun.

Loco Lu’s Coffeehouse is pleased to invite you to our Acoustic Jam Session, to be held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights each month, 7:00pm-9:30pm.
This jam is for acoustic stringed instruments (guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, dulcimer, bass and the like) as well as other folk/traditional instruments such as harmonica and tin/penny whistle. It's open to all levels of musicians and several styles of music -- folk, bluegrass, traditional, country, pop, and even soft rock.
The "price of admission" is at least ten copies each (with lyrics, chords and the song's key) of at least two songs that you want to share with the group. (Plan to allow the other participants to take home the music you pass out so that everyone leaves with a few new tunes for their repertoire.) What else do you need to bring? Your instrument(s), tuner and a music stand if you want/need one ... that's it!
Loco Lu’s is located at 5210 Hollyridge Drive, in Oak Park Shopping Center, directly across the street from The Peddler Steak House (just off Glenwood Avenue about a mile west of Crabtree Valley Mall).
